Doing What You Want Is Freedom. Loving What You Do Is Happiness.

by Eric

I decided to do a “vlog” post today.  Something I don’t normally do but it was kind of fun.  Although, I noticed I tend to ramble a bit more than in my writings. :)  Anyway, check out the video below when you have about 9 minutes to spare.  I know it’s long, but I think it’ll be worth it.

We all know that if we love doing something we keep doing it.  But do we know that when that love ends, we should give it up?

Great post Eric! The freedom aspect is such a wide spread desire for so many people, not only in work, but in relationships, hobbies, family, etc. As I have been progressing along my new life path, I have learned that finding things I love to do and people I love around me has made me happier than I ever thought possible. Freedom to choose what I want in my life allows that for me though. I think exerting our freedom to do what we want helps us determine what we love when we are at a confused stage in our lives. So really freedom can equal happiness if directed in the right way. Becoming a functional human being means cutting back on our restrictions and finding what we love in life; jobs, relationships, hobbies, and even material items. I’m attempting to turn my life in a direction where I ONLY surround myself with what I love. A lot of people disagree with my direction but it is bringing me closer to the happiness we are all seeking for ourselves.
